Founded by Patrick & Cole Hemingway, H2 BUILDERS combines over 50-years of General Contracting experience building projects all over the West Coast ranging from San Diego to Portland. These projects include Residential, Retail, Restaurants, Commercial, Medical, Office Buildings, Shopping Centers and Tenant Improvements. The Hemingway's decided to bring their high level of customer service, value pricing, experience, honesty, integrity and quality of work to the Napa & Sonoma county areas.
Patrick Hemingway
Patrick has been involved in the construction industry since his graduation from UC Berkeley in 1973 with a degree in Architecture. As President of Stevens-Hemingway-Stevens for 36-years, Patrick was involved in the design, development and management for a wide range of construction projects featuring shopping centers, retail, medical, restaurants, residential, mixed-use and other specialty projects such as schools, churches, libraries, theaters, athletic fields, fitness centers and even an Indian gaming casino.
Having managed construction projects with market values in excess of $2.5 Billion, operations in many states and even overseas, Patrick has experience in all aspects of the General Contracting business and is personally involved in each H2 BUILDERS project. His architectural background provides a special perspective into projects not found in many General Contractors.
When not working, Patrick can be found in the gym, on the golf course or working on projects with his wife of 40-years, Jill at their Foxtail Farms property in Napa.
Cole Hemingway
Cole started out as a carpenter framing during his college summers. After graduating from UC Davis in 2009, he began working for his father, Patrick at Stevens-Hemingway-Stevens as a Project Manager. Over 7-years Cole learned the skills and efforts required to take a project from the initial design development stage, through permitting, construction and eventual completion. Through this he learned the importance of building relationships of value that last and live on past a project’s completion. After spending so many years in the commercial world, he turned his focus to high end residential projects and has grown to appreciate the joy of working with clients to build them their dream home.
Aside from building beautiful homes, Cole enjoys spending time with his wife, family & friends, hiking, golf, supporting the 49ers, Giants & Warriors and is proud to call the Napa Valley his home.
